作为 NBA 2010 年选秀状元，Washington Wizards 当家球星 John Wall 上个赛季因伤提前报销，二月份时又因不慎在家摔倒，伤及左腿跟腱，必须进行手术，预计得休养近一年，而目前 Wall 则正在休养当中；他上一次在球场上征战已是去年 12 月 26 日对阵 Detroit Pistons 的比赛。

即将满 29 岁的 John Wall，上赛季只出战了 32 比赛，不过在他健康时，能缴出场均 20.7 分、3.6 篮板和 8.7 次助攻的数据。然而今回，对于下个赛季 John Wall 是否有望回归的疑问，不久前 Wizards 老板 Ted Leonsis 则透露 Wall 很有可能会错过整个 2019-20 赛季。
